About Paulus
For a long time, I’ve been searching for a way to experience more peace and space. Often, the thoughts I had—judging others and myself—were driving me crazy. And so were my unpleasant feelings. I was mostly focused on trying not to feel those things and striving for what did feel good. All of this left me feeling quite dissatisfied.
Gradually, I began searching for the causes and ways to cope with this. Through various training programs and therapies, I learned about the origins and mechanisms of several of my patterns. Mindfulness played a crucial role for me in this process; it proved a fundamental component for all other therapies to work deeper and longerlasting. The deeply open inquiring and understanding observing attitude joint with the feeling supported in “working” together under the guidance of an experienced trainer/coach enabled the opening of doors that had remained closed until then.
I was able to evolve my foundation into a larger sense of self-freedom and in connection with others—especially during times of stress, through training and experiences in (amongst others):
- (self-)compassion
- voice dialogue
- polyvagal theory in practice (PVT)
- nonviolent communication technique
- emotional freedom techniques (EFT)
I have been educated in working in a trauma-sensitive manner.
Through my courses and coaching, I hope to help you live a freer and more contented life.
And besides that…
- I love hiking and picnicking in nature. Especially in Swiss mountains. When it comes to running, I enjoy muddy trails the most.
- I find great fulfillment in being a father, despite the occasional challenges.
- I practice yoga to keep my body flexible and nurture my mental well-being.
- I frequently enjoy a “snackbook”—preferably a mystery novel.
